Dick Cheney Forgets His Oath?
Uploaded by: LiberalViewer
Video Description:
When former Vice President Dick Cheney took his media tour to CBS' "Face The Nation" last weekend, it not only caught the attention of Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show," but, as I also show in this video, the interview revealed what may be an important omission in Dick Cheney's memory of the oath he took to become Vice President of the United States.

seriously though, you liberals cared about the Constitution from 2001-2008, and then it was back to business as usual destroying this country
i care about the Constitution. I just hate it when liberals pretend to care about it when they don't even understand it. Hell, Bush WAS a liberal as far as I'm concerned.
Anyway, if you wanted to argue that Dick Cheney didn't care about the Constitution, there are many better arguments than simply he paraphrased his oath in an interview and forgot to mention the word "Constitution". That just makes this a dumb video
So? Political parties have flaws- but they also change with each new election cycle. Ideology is more important in a leader than party.
Cheney basically ran foreign policy- that's no secret. Bush had been a governor so he understood domestic issues more, but he basically surrounded himself with experienced people like Cheney to make up for his lack of foreign policy experience
The neoconservative ideology of the Republicans is relatively recent, and has definitely failed the test of public opinion
If you thought they were all neocons, you are sorely mistaken. The neocons held some power for Reagan in the later years of his administration, but they tended to be more liberal on economic issues, whereas Reagan was simply conservative. They were also for a tough military policy, which was not always the case with Nixon and Bush I, who were more about realpolitik and balance of power.

Just glance over the part where he admits to torturing people, so you can attack him for not reciting an oath verbatim.
